The peace of God is the perfect peace every individual must possess to leave a peaceful life but there are certain things that can prevent you from having that perfect piece you need in your life.

Below are the five things that can hinder the peace of God in your life

1. Bitterness: 

bitterness can grow even take root in the heart of an individual. it stops the children of God from enjoying the peace of God. in the heart of an individual bitterness creates room for hatred, envy, and anger thereby, hindering the peace of God in your life. this results in bitter experience, something joy, and peace.

2 Sinful living:  

1 John 3:8 “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning” for this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. For instance fighting ( James 4:1), pride (Daniel 5:6), jealousy (songs of Solomon 8:6), evil thoughts (Mathew 9:4) holding grudges (James 5:9). The Bible tells us that there is no peace for the wicked and that the wages of sin is death.

3. Unforgiveness: 

everyone must run away from this sin it’s killing. Luke 5:7 says; offense will always come, because, no man is perfect in this world and we will continue to offend one and another for many reasons. unforgiveness drive the peace of God away from you. It brings anguish and bitterness.

4. The emptiness of  Gods word:

colossians 3:16 “let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; admonishing one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with the grace in your heart to the lord. Inability to read the word of God, meditate and obey the word brings lack of peace and inability to know the perfect will of God on salient issues like the choice of life partner, job, course of study and other priorities of life these group of people always live a confused life their future is blurred and peace is very far away from them.

5. Living a prayerless life:

the more you pray the more peace you enjoy. But when you do not pray, the burden and issues of life will weigh you down. A prayerless Christian is a self-willed, self-directed and self-sufficient individual whose vision is blurred.
